Wilf Goes Skiing Privacy Policy
The game collects nothing about you. It has no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no way of contacting me at all.
Who I am
Wilf Goes Skiing is made by Jason Foster, trading as Designspin, a software engineering practice based in Norwich, UK. For anything related to your personal data, get in touch through the support form.
The short version
The game contains no code that talks to the internet. There is no analytics package, no advertising network, no crash reporter and no server of mine anywhere. Nothing you do in the game is sent to me, because there is nothing to send it with.
What the game stores, and where
Your money, your best score, how many days you have survived and whether you own the wingsuit are written to a single file inside the app's own storage on your phone. It never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no backup I can restore for you.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, finishing a run submits your score to Apple's leaderboards. That is Apple's service, handled entirely by Apple's software on your device, and it is covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one. I see leaderboard entries the same way any other player does, and I receive no personal information about you from it. Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings and the game simply stops posting scores.
The wingsuit purchase
The wingsuit is a one off in app purchase handled by Apple. Your payment details go to Apple and never come near me or the game. I am told only that a purchase completed, which is what unlocks the suit. Restoring on a new device asks Apple, not me.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, of any age. There is no chat, no user generated content and no way for players to contact each other.
If you email me for support
The support form on this site sends your name, email address and message to my inbox so that I can reply. That is the only place you can hand me any personal data, you have to choose to do it, and I keep it only as long as it takes to sort out whatever you wrote about. It is never used for marketing and never passed to anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before it ships and the date at the top will change. As things stand there is nothing to disclose.
