Warpline Privacy Policy
The game collects nothing about you. It has no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no way of contacting me at all.
Who I am
Warpline is made by Jason Foster, trading as Designspin, a software engineering practice based in Norwich, UK. For anything related to your personal data, get in touch through the support form.
The short version
There is no analytics package in the game, no advertising network, no crash reporter and no account to make. Nothing you do while racing is sent to me. The only parts that talk to anything outside your phone are Apple's own: Game Center and the App Store, and both of those are Apple's to run.
What the game stores, and where
Your best times, your scores, your career progress, your garage and whether you own the full game are written to files inside the app's own storage on your phone. They never leave the device. Deleting the app deletes them, and there is no backup I can restore for you.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, finishing a race or a time trial submits your score to Apple's leaderboards, and milestones unlock Apple's achievements. That is Apple's service, handled entirely by Apple's software on your device, and it is covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one. I see leaderboard entries the same way any other player does, and I receive no personal information about you from it. Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings and the game simply stops posting.
The full game purchase
Opening the other three worlds is a one off in app purchase handled by Apple. Your payment details go to Apple and never come near me or the game. I am told only that a purchase completed, which is what unlocks them. Restoring on a new device asks Apple, not me.
Children
The game collects no data from anyone, of any age. There is no chat, no user generated content and no way for players to contact each other.
If you write to me for support
The support form on this site sends your name, email address and message to my inbox so that I can reply. That is the only place you can hand me any personal data, you have to choose to do it, and I keep it only as long as it takes to sort out whatever you wrote about. It is never used for marketing and never passed to anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before it ships and the date at the top will change. As things stand there is nothing to disclose.
